Looking back at 2023 in our end-of-year round-up

As another year draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on some of the highlights of the previous twelve months and share some of the big stories to come out of our Grantham headquarters, as we get ready to welcome what promises to be another fantastic year ahead.

Lifting the lid on our rebrand

One significant change for us this year was the evolution of our brand. Our beloved Rocky has been the face of our brand for many years and while we love Rocky, we felt he had some growing up to do.

By making him feel more like a true-to-life rhino, and incorporating a deeper and slightly broader colour palette with strong and angled typography, we’ve made our brand stand out while supporting our position as an industry-leader in the crusher and screener industry.

Reflecting on Plantworx 2023

Our annual visit to Plantworx was a resounding success, with record numbers of people visiting our stand and all of the machines we took with us, finding new homes while we were at the show. It was a real pleasure to see so many familiar faces, as well as a healthy number of new ones at this year’s show.

This annual event brings together a range of plant designers, manufacturers and dealers to showcase their wares to new and existing customers.

The interest in our range of machinery was high, and we were delighted to see a good number of sales secured across the three-day event. The hot weather certainly had visitors in a good mood too, and we enjoyed visiting and speaking to fellow plant manufacturers in the glowing June sunshine.

Catch us at Hillhead 2024

We’re already planning our activities for next year and we are delighted to announce that we will be back on the road in 2024 – with a presence secured at Hillhead!

This hugely popular event, hosted at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, brings together plant designers and manufacturers from across the UK and overseas to network and promote their products to potential customers. Hillhead 2024 will take place from 25th – 27th June and promises to be one of the most popular events held to-date.

With just under 18,500 unique visitors, Hillhead 2022 proved to be one of the busiest and best-attended shows in the event’s 40-year history. Across the three days, visitors can enjoy live demonstrations, with over 600 exhibitors and thousands of products for the quarrying, construction and recycling industries on show.

We look forward to seeing some of you at next year’s event, when we will have two new machines on show.

Investment in new machining centre and factory

Earlier this year, we invested a significant amount of money into a new machining centre and opened  a new factory at our 5-acre Grantham headquarters. With all of the manufacturing tools, expertise and equipment needed across our site, we’re now perfectly placed to continue to facilitate customer orders in bulk, expand our manufacturing capabilities and widen our reach on a global scale.

Revealing our new 7000ES

We’re delighted to be able to provide you with further information about the latest machine coming off our production line – adding to our ever-expanding range.

Following a successful trial with our German dealer, who had requested a larger version of our hugely popular 5000ES, our order books are now open for our new 7000ES.

This machine promises to be a cost-effective solution for larger clearance projects, removing costly muck away charges and saving on bought in hardcore. The 7000ES will open up new revenue streams for businesses and deliver sizable environmental benefits, with the ability to create MOT Type 1 hardcore to be sold for use across the wider construction industry or re-purposed for future projects. This machine is also an environmentally friendly alternative to diesel machines and can enter sites where strict emission restrictions are in place – including enclosed and indoor spaces.

To register your early interest in the 7000ES, please contact Lesley Perrin on 01476 590790 or email lesley@redrhinocrushers.net.

Christmas Opening Hours

Our Grantham head office will close from Thursday 21st December for the Christmas and new year period, with our doors reopening on Tuesday 2nd January.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers, suppliers and partners a very merry Christmas and a happy new year from the entire team at Red Rhino, and we look forward to seeing what 2024 will bring.
