Our team has partnered with fellow Grantham-based business Tythorne Garden Design to create a feature garden at this year’s eagerly anticipated RHS Malvern Spring Festival.
Running from the 9th – 12th May 2024 at the Three Counties Showground in Worcestershire, the RHS Malvern Spring Festival is an annual event that brings together garden enthusiasts from across the country thanks to its wide range of guest speakers, trade stalls, plants and show gardens.
Every year, landscape gardeners design showpiece displays for the show and this year, a Grantham-based landscape garden designer has planted his roots firmly in Worcestershire for the full four days with his own unique array of flora and fauna – with the help of our team alongside Pickwell Paving and Kelham Island Concrete and Landscapeplus.
Ian McBain of Tythorne Garden Design has created the aptly named ‘Concrete 2.0’ – named in homage to the businesses that have supported him with the creation of his vibrant masterpiece.
Being sustainable and achieving recycling targets were at the heart of this project and our 4000 crusher is perfectly placed to achieve these specific project goals.
Our product range includes crushers suited to small-scale construction, landscapers and demolition projects, as well as larger remote controlled crushers and screeners with the ability to crush and organise material such as concrete, brick and other building waste into reusable product.
Speaking about the partnership with Ian, our Director, Laura Winfield, said, “When we heard that Ian was set to showcase his skills at this year’s RHS Malvern Spring Festival and he needed support with the build, we were keen to get behind him in any way we could,”
“We’re passionate about collaborating with local businesses wherever we can and we are proud to be partnering with Ian on the Concrete 2.0 project”
Laura continues, “The 4000 is the perfect companion for landscape gardeners. It’s a small mobile crusher that can fit through narrow doorways and access the most hard to reach projects, while still possessing the necessary crushing power for substantial materials such as brick, concrete and glass,”
The end result speaks for itself, with Ian’s garden set to impress visitors at this year’s show, as he goes on to explain.
“The Malvern Spring Festival is a staple event in many garden enthusiast calendars,” explains Ian.
“To be exhibiting at this year’s event means a lot and I certainly couldn’t have achieved it without the support of Red Rhino, Pickwell Paving and Kelham Island Concrete and Landscapeplus. Breaking materials into smaller usable product is really hard to do without the right machinery. A 4000 has the power to save landscape gardeners considerable time while making the process more efficient and environmentally friendly,”
We will be exhibiting a 4000 at this year’s Malvern Spring Festival – demonstrating the benefits of this specific model for landscape gardeners.
“I can’t thank the team at Red Rhino enough for helping me make my vision a reality for this year’s event!” Ian adds.
