Hillhead 2026 has been and gone, and it was the biggest edition yet – over 620 exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals descended on Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, Derbyshire, from 23–25 June for the UK’s largest quarrying, construction and recycling equipment exhibition. As always, the Red Rhino team was out on the ground, and we’ve put together a short highlights video to bring you along with us.
Live demonstrations on stand A32
Found in the Registration Demonstration Area at stand A32, Red Rhino ran live demonstrations throughout all three days of the show, giving visitors the chance to see our RR 8000 Crusher working exactly as it would on site.
It’s this hands-on, working-quarry format that makes Hillhead different from most trade shows, and it’s exactly why we keep coming back. Hillhead is the kind of event where you get to meet the people who are actually using this equipment day in, day out – and that direct feedback that is invaluable.
Introducing our new 3-way screener
Hillhead 2026 also marked the launch of our newest screener: the RR 12000 Screener. Built to screen materials efficiently with quick mesh changes and a spring-tensioned brush system, this 3-way screener is designed to separate everything from topsoil and aggregates to demolition waste into clean, usable grades – all from a compact, transportable footprint that suits sites where space is tight.
Visitors got their first look at the show and the response from the crowd was exactly what we’d hoped for.
Putting our crushers through their paces
On display alongside the new screener were some of our range of mobile jaw crushers. Showing why Red Rhino remains a trusted name for contractors in construction, groundworks, skip and plant hire across the UK and beyond. From our compact mini crushers right up to our most capable high-output models, there’s a Red Rhino machine for every scale of job.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by
Hillhead only happens once every two years, so it’s always a highlight of our calendar. Thank you to everyone who came to stand A32 for a chat, watched a demo, or asked us about which machine would suit their site – we loved catching up with old faces and meeting new ones.
If you missed us at the show, or want to see or discuss any of our crushers and screeners in more detail, please get in touch at info@redrhinocrushers.net – we’d love to talk you through the range, as well as our spare parts and service options.
